For 97 years, the Verona Juniors and its sisters have addressed the diverse needs of our community by promoting  education, preserving natural resources, encouraging healthy lifestyles, working on behalf of the elderly and people with disabilities, advocating for issues of concern to women, children and families, and supporting participation in the arts.

But we’re not only unified by our shared passion of giving back to the community. We also love the friendship, opportunities, connections, and fun that comes with being a member, including participating in social activities like BBQs, sporting events, group exercise classes, crafts, and dinners.

Our meetings generally occur on the second Wednesday of each month. If you’re interested in becoming a member, please visit our Contact Us page and we’ll be in touch!

Since 1926, our Verona chapter has been giving back to the community. Flashback to February 1963 when members presented a donation to the Verona Ambulance Unit, versus 2023 when members did the same for the Rescue Squad!

Each time we collect a $5 donation to fund a small project for the community (a recent example being a "birthday in a bag" kit for families struggling to purchase supplies to make their child's birthday special🎂🎁🎊) #bookclub #veronanj

In recognition of April as Prevent Child Abuse month, the Junior Women's Club of Verona participated in Prevent Child Abuse NJ's Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign. The Juniors planted a pinwheel garden outside of the @verona_pd and @veronapubliclibrary. A long-standing tradition of the Verona Juniors, pinwheels represent childlike whimsy and lightheartedness and our vision for a world where all children grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities. Special thanks to the Verona Township Council for the Proclamation read during the March 25th meeting to support this cause!
